Over the years I developed my own photography style, which you might have noticed whilst browsing the shop. It is coined by rather dark colours and an almost mysteries atmosphere. The artist that has influenced me and my work the most is the cinematographer extraordinaire: Werner Herzog. His films as well as his personality fascinate and inspire me. A darkness dominates Herzog’s movies and a hint of secrecy and mystery surrounds his characters. He manages to paint beautiful pictures of the individual and his conflict with nature and his environment.Like Herzog I want to create curiosity but also display some form of prosaic and dark reality to showcase how fragile our relationship with nature is.
